Dienes Blocks, developed by Zoltan Dienes, make mathematics tangible and engaging by using the familiar “count and write” method as a bridge to more advanced operations. This kit introduces children to the Base-10 system and place value concepts, enabling them to master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in a structured, step-by-step manner.
The blocks also support learning in measurement — length, area, volume, and weight — as each cube is 1 cubic centimeter in volume, weighs 1 gram, and has a surface area of 1 sq. cm.
